Account: Local in woodland, marshes, river-banks and other damp areas throughout much of the British Isles The dark fuscous-brown coloration of the fore- and hindwings and the contrasting white antemedian fascia of the forewing are characteristic of this species [Bradley]. Larva feeds on Lesser Celandine, Alternate-leaved Golden-saxifrage, Dog's Mercury and similar, living within a spun or rolled leaf.
