Account: Local in damp woodland, fens, marshes, and along river-banks throughout much of England The most likely confusion species is Olive I. subtusa, which see for differences. Larva feeds on Sallow, Eared Willow, Grey Willow, Goat Willow and Black Poplar, over-wintering as an egg.
