Vernacular: Light Emerald

Account: Common in broad-leaved woodland, areas with scattered trees, scrub, hedgerows, parks and gardens throughout the British Isles. Larva feeds on Pedunculate Oak, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Hazel, Downy and Silver Birch, Elm, Sallow, Horse Chestnut, Sweet Chestnut and Beech.
