Account: Common on grassland, downland, heaths and other open areas throughout the British Isles The small size of this species and the bright orange-yellow general coloration of the forewing are distinguishing features [Bradley]. Larva feeds on Wild Strawberry, Marsh Cinquefoil, Meadowsweet and other Rosaceae, living within a spun or rolled leaf.
